Who We Are
Happytat is a unique charity shop located on Stokes Croft, selling pre-loved and upcycled furniture. The shop supports local initiatives tackling addiction and homelessness in Bristol.
Happytat is run under the LoveBristol charity umbrella which both supports and sets up new projects in Bristol to bring about positive change for the city and the surrounding areas.
All proceeds of the shop are donated to LoveBristol projects and inHope (formerly Crisis Centre Ministries.)
What We Do
Sales
Looking for some new furniture? You have come to the right place! Happytat stocks a variety of both pre-loved and upcycled items, so you are welcome to come down to the shop or check out our social media posts to see if we have anything for you!
Deliveries
For customers buying furniture from the shop, we offer a delivery service using our very own Happytat van. The van typically runs three days a week, and prices are dependent on the location of the delivery. Please get in touch with our team for more info.
Collections
Looking to donate some furniture? We would love to collect it for free! The easiest way to donate is to email a picture of the items to: us@happytat.org. One of our team will then be able to review your donation and arrange a collection slot if it is accepted.
Volunteers
As well as selling furniture, Happytat also aims to provide a safe space for volunteers to gain confidence whilst developing valuable life and employment skills. As of Summer 2014, we have positively impacted over 90 volunteers that have experienced probation, addiction, mental health issues, unemployment, and learning difficulties.
